new scientific findings.

However, lead remains an important alloying element for copper alloys. Lead-containing materials are tried and tested alloy systems that offer a
range of technological advantages. Among other things, lead increases the sliding and emergency running properties, improves the machinability and the
corrosion resistance of the finished component
