Looser Aluminium Bronze 79 (LAB 79) – CuAl10,5Ni5,1Fe4,8 AMS 4590 (USA)

This wrought material involves an American aluminium multi-material, which is not according to the DIN norm.

Looser Aluminium Bronze 79 is a construction material with highest strength properties, even at elevated temperatures; high permanent fatigue strength; good corrosion resistance against neutral and acidic, aqueous media as well as seawater; good resistance to scaling, erosion and cavitation.

The choice of alloys is made primarily according to the required strength properties. The alloy and therefore the scopes of application are very similar to Looser Aluminium Bronze 78.
