Machinability
Looser Special Brass 22 is easy to machine. The feed and cutting speed settings should not be too low. The material is difficult to weld, difficult to hard solder and not suitable for soft soldering. However, it is suitable for thermal forming in the temperature range from 630-680°C.
Sliding partners
Mating steel surfaces must be hardened and ground. Good lubrication is required.
